FORMAL WEAR
All contestants will model a formal dress. Judging based on facial beauty, stage presence, and poise. Contestants are not judged for the type of dress they are wearing but how well it compliments their style and personality as well of the fit of the garment.
OPEN FASHION
All contestants will model an outfit of their personal style. Have fun with this competition, and show your personal style. Note: fashion can be as simple or formal as you like. Judging based on facial beauty, stage presence and poise. Contestants are not judged for the type of outfit they are wearing but how well it compliments their style and personality as well of the fit of the garment. High glitz clothing/costumes not allowed. All outfits must be competition appropriate.
INTERVIEW
Contestants will meet with their panel on-on-one introduce themselves, and will be given a series of questions by the appointed moderator. Judging will be based off of the contestant’s confidence, poise, overall appearance, ability to answer the questions given, and personality. Political and religious questions will NOT be given. Contestant in the Universal Baby division—will have an escort who will introduce the contestant to the judges and will be given this time to share a few fun facts about the contestant. Baby contestants will be judged on their overall appearance, their behavior, and personality.
PERSONAL INTRODUCTION
(YOUNG MISS-ELITE MISS DIVISIONS)
Contestants will have 45 seconds to introduce themselves on stage in front of the judges and the audience by saying their name, state, and something interesting about themselves and/or their future goals. Embrace You and be proud to share how amazing and unique you are! Judging will be based on execution, content, and personality.
PROGRAM PHOTO
All contestants will be required to submit a photo with her registration form. This picture is not judged, but will be used for the judge’s reference. This photo will be printed in the annual program book. Program books will be printed in color. Color photos are preferred, but not required.
