Multiple talent categories will be offered for your contestant that loves to perform. Contestants entering 3 or more categories, scoring a platinum score, will qualify for the Universal Entertainer Showdown Competition. Open to ALL ages!

THE UMmodel EXPERIENCE

Will YOU be one of the next UMmodels?

Hands on Model Workshop Intensive during Nationals. Walk in the LIVE UM Runway Show! 5 will be selected for the UMmodel Experience during February NYFW! Open to ages 3+.

PERSONAL ESSAY

Do you have the gift of writing?

Showcase it by submitting a personal essay! Each year a topic will be given in the contestant manual. The winning essay will be printed in the program book.

BELLA MISS

Practice pageant. Contestants will model only one formal dress. Age divisions: 0-12m, 13-24m, 3-4, 5-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-16, 17-20, 21-29, 30+ years (age as of January 1,
2024)

UNIVERSAL SPOKESPERSON

Delegates must deliver a speech or showcase their acting abilities -
Come prepared with your own TV Commercial, Comedy Routine, Dramatic Presentation OR pick a topic from the Contestant Manual. Open to Mini-Elite Miss Divisions.

BABY/MINI TALENT

Let her shine during this optional talent competition.

Open to Baby-Mini Divisions.

BEST PORTFOLIO

Turned in at registration. A portfolio should be bound in a binder type presentation folder and include at least 6 different photos. Photos should include multiple looks including full length,
close-ups, and scenery which can be indoor and/or outdoor.

UNIVERSAL PHOTOGENIC

Photogenic winners will be selected per division. Photo will be judged on personality, beauty, grooming,
fashion sense, and confidence.

BEST HEAD SHOT

Submit a printed photo at registration. Each photo will be judged on personality, beauty, grooming, fashion sense, and confidence.

PRETTIEST EYES, HAIR,SMILE, BEST OPEN FASHION, BEST FORMAL WEAR

These will be judged per division and one winner per category will be selected.

CONTESTANT'S CHOICE

Contestants in the Young Miss division-Elite Miss will be able to vote for the contestant that has the best attitude, sportsmanship, and team spirit. The contestant earning the most votes will be awarded the
Contestant's Choice award. One will be chosen per division.
